Aurora High School (AHS) has been ranked #1 in Northeast Ohio and #6 in Ohio in the Best High Schools article by U.S. News & World Report for 2017.  Earning this Gold Medal distinction (indicating the greatest level of college readiness) places AHS at #202 in the country.  The gold medal rating is given to only 500 schools nationwide calculated by using College Readiness Index student performance results.  The report is derived from data submitted by more than 28,000 public high schools nationally.  To view the complete AHS overview results, click here.

Please join us for an evening of song at Harmon Middle School’s Choir Concert on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.  It begins at 7:00 p.m. at Aurora High School.   This spring concert will cap the choir’s school year of hard work and they would really enjoy seeing you there.

HARMON SCHOOL VISIT BY AUTHOR SHELLEY PEARSALL 7th Most Important Thing Book Cover

On Thursday, May 4, 2017, award-winning author Shelley Pearsall will visit Harmon School’s Language Arts Festival.  A grant from the Aurora Schools Foundation has allowed all Harmon students to read Pearsall’s book, The Seventh Most Important Thing.  Grade level assemblies will take place in the morning, book signings will take place during lunch, and a writer’s workshop for 50 student writers will be held in the afternoon.

The Aurora Schools’ Band program will be holding a fundraiser at the Chipotle Mexican Grill in Twinsburg (2640 Creekside Drive) on May 9, 2017 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Please mention the Aurora High School Band when ordering/purchasing and they will donate 50% of the profits to the band.

TECH TUESDAYS COMMUNITY TECHNOLOGY HELP ~ Updated Information Tech Help Word with Computer Mouse

The Harmon School TECH TUESDAYS, a program offered by students to provide advice on technology for community members, is now being held at the WALKER BUILDING on Tuesdays from approximately 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Just bring in your technological device and the students will be happy to help with all problems, big or small. 

Help will be available on the following dates through the end of the school year:
