LIVE LEARNSTREAM EVENT ~ December 8, 2018 LearnStream in Green with Freedom to Learn, Passion to Share below

Each year, through the Aurora High School Course of Study, we invite young learners to participate in a purely free and open learning environment. Each year, several of our learners at AHS take us up on the offer. They come with only their passion for knowledge in some area determined solely by their interests. They adapt to an environment where both personal autonomy and collaboration are championed above all other elements. They develop their own goals, their own curriculum, and curate teachers and resources from around the world.

On Saturday, Dec. 8th, you have the chance to watch and participate in our live event, where these learners, after a semester of research and work, share their progress in this space. On the morning of Dec. 8th, we will host LearnStream, a live web event, from 8am - 4:30pm. You will find a link to our event prominently displayed on the front page of the District Website. Watch anytime throughout the day, and interact with our learners as they share their passions, their struggles, and their successes in self-directed learning.
