AURORA HIGH SCHOOL'S VETERANS STADIUM CLOSED DUE TO TRACK & TURF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Photo from Above of AHS Veterans Stadium End Zone

The Aurora High School's Veterans Stadium will be closed beginning Monday, June 18, 2018 due to the track and turf replacement construction project. The stadium will be closed until further notice. Please check back here for updates regarding the reopening of the stadium. Thank you for your cooperation as safety is the district’s priority.

The Aurora Schools’ Football program will host their annual mattress fundraiser on Saturday, July 28, 2018.  If you are in need of a NEW, name brand, high-quality mattress set (much higher quality and up to 50% below retail!), then come to Aurora High School from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  There will be brand new mattress sets with factory warranties on display to try and experts on hand to answer any questions.  Delivery is available.

You can purchase your prepackaged school supplies for the next school year through School Tool Box.  You can place your order online, and it will be DELIVERED DIRECTLY TO YOUR HOME ADDRESS. 

You will have the option to CUSTOMIZE your order by adding or removing items from the teacher-approved list.  Already have a ruler or scissors? Remove them.  Need an additional box of crayons for home or supplies for a sibling?  Add them.  It's that simple! School Tool Box will donate one meal for each box sold to Feed My Starving Children.

AURORA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT’S 2018-19 SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS AVAILABLE ON-LINE School Supplies 2018 - 2019 with a school bus and scissors inside a red and grey border

School supply lists for the 2018-19 school year are available on-line for students in grades Preschool - 8.

There is no school supply list for Aurora High School students.  Each teacher will inform their students as to what materials they will need for class at either new student orientation or the first day of class. It is recommended that all high school students come prepared with basic school supplies, such as spiral notebook paper, folders, pencils, and pens, on the first day of school and the calculator that corresponds with the math class they are taking.  (Integrated Math 1 BLOCK or Integrated Math 1- Graphic Calculator TI 83+ or TI 84+ (TI 89 is not recommended).

Mark your calendar to take a break.  The Aurora Schools’ PTO is sponsoring a Kalahari Resort Fundraiser that supports your school while having fun with your family at the Kalahari Resort on Saturday, September 22, 2018.  Rooms are ONLY $149 and feature two Queen beds.  The price includes Waterpark passes.  A portion from EACH room booked will benefit the Aurora City School District PTOs.  Ask for the AURORA CITY SCHOOLS’ GROUP RATE when making reservations and be sure to BOOK EARLY to avoid being shut out.

BE A CRADDOCK BLUE RIBBON READER THIS SUMMER Blue Ribbon

This summer Craddock students can be Blue Ribbon Readers.  All you have to do is complete a summer reading journal to track the number of minutes you spend reading or being read to.  Bring the completed journal back to school in the fall and receive a Blue Ribbon Reader Award and a special invitation to attend an Exclusive Blue Ribbon Reader Event on August 30, 2018.
