The Aurora Greenmen Cross Country Team is holding a fundraiser at the Chipotle located at 2640 Creekside Drive in Twinsburg on Monday, October 16, 2017.  Dine in or carry out between 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and 50% of the proceeds will benefit the AHS Cross County Program.  You must present the flyer below, show it on your phone or tell the cashier when ordering.  Thank you for your support!

The parent/teacher conferences provide an opportunity for you to discuss your child’s academic progress with his/her teachers.

EDUCATIONAL OPTIONS NIGHT (Including CCP) ~ November 1, 2017 Educational Options Green and Yellow with Grad Hat

Students and parents in grades 7-12 are invited to an evening of information and discussion on course offerings beyond our college preparatory curriculum.  The Aurora High School Educational Options Night, hosted by the AHS Guidance Department, will take place on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.  This program features information regarding Advanced Placement (AP), College Credit Plus (CCP), Excel TECC and other options that earn a student college credits.

The presentation will feature administrators, high school counselors and college representatives who will be on-hand to answer your questions and will include valuable information pertaining to these programs.  Please note the deadline for the College Credit Plus intent form is April 1st.  If you have further questions, please contact your student's counselor at Aurora High School or Harmon Middle School.


AURORA GREENMEN MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP Basketball in hoop

Attention all boys interested in trying out for the 7th and 8th grade basketball teams. There will be a Middle School Basketball Camp for all 7th and 8th grade boys by the High School basketball staff and athletes. This will be a great opportunity for you to work on your skills and get ready for tryouts.

MILLER SCHOOL INTEGRATED PRESCHOOL COMMUNITY PEER APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS FOR THE 2018-19 SCHOOL YEAR Preschool Lottery

The Miller Elementary School Integrated Preschool Community Peer Application and Selection Process will be taking place for the 2018-19 school year.   Applications will be available until October 31, 2017 in the Miller School office and at the link below.  Please return the application to the Miller School Secretary on or before October 31, 2017. 

The lottery numbers will be drawn on November 3rd, 2017 and you will be notified by mail of your lottery number.

The Harmon/High PTO would like to thank everyone that has purchased spirit wear at home football games, open houses and the high school bookstore!  Please note that the items sold at all school events are available EXCLUSIVELY through the Harmon/High PTO.  We have no affiliation with other retailers.

PTO YANKEE CANDLE FUNDRAISER YANKEE Candle Jars

By now you should have received the information packets on the school fundraiser with Yankee Candles. This is a huge fundraiser for our school so any order is appreciated! There are three ways to participate this year:

1. The catalog that was sent home last week.  You have until 10/2 to complete your order form and send it back to school. Product pick up will be the week of 10/23. More details to come!

2. You can order online at www.yankeecandlefundraising.com through 01/2018!!!

If you order online, go to the link, scroll down until you see the two boxes. One will be for About Yankee Candle Fundraising and Start ShoppingUnder the Start Shopping box, enter the group # 990016538 then click on start shopping!! Make sure to mention your student's name at check out to get credit for the order!!

3. There is also a Yankee Candle Fundraiser App available for Android and Apple devices.

NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION SEMI-FINALIST/COMMENDED STUDENTS ANNOUNCED National Merit AHS Student Congrats

Congratulations to this year’s National Merit Scholarship Competition Semi-Finalist and Commended AHS students.  Maddie Brandes has been named a National Merit Semi-Finalist while Justin Voyzey was named a National Merit Commended student.  Congratulations on receiving this prestigious honor which represents less than 1% of each state’s graduating Seniors.
