Annie Grohe and her husband Kenny moved to Aurora from Hudson 13 years ago. They have three daughters Erin (a freshman), Samantha and Olivia (7th graders) who attend the Aurora City Schools.
Annie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She worked as a Rehabilitation Director for a contract company overseeing the skilled nursing units at Barberton Citizens Hospital and the Arbors of Fairlawn. Currently, she is an independent consultant for a designer located in LA.
At present, Annie is on the Academic Strategic Planning Committee for the Aurora City Schools. She was on the Levy Committee in 2008 and has been involved with the PTO since her daughters started school. Annie has chaired numerous committees including; lunch bunch, school supplies and grandparents tea. She loves attending school sporting events, concerts and academic challenges.
Annie has been involved with numerous organizations within the Aurora community. She and her husband started the “Middlers” youth group at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She is currently a member of the Cleveland Boys & Girls Club Women’s Board. Annie also organizes an Aurora Couples Bowling League. She has coached youth soccer, cheerleading and a Destination Imagination Team. She is proud to be a part of such a great community.
