Title: Board of Education Member
Email
Kate Fuller and her husband have lived in Aurora for just under ten years and chose to raise their family in the community because of its strong schools and reasonable taxes. They have three children in the district, with two attending Harmon and one at Leighton, giving her a personal and meaningful connection to the work of the Board.
She was born and raised in Columbus and earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. Her professional background is in buying, where she developed strong negotiation and decision-making skills. After the birth of her first child, she chose to become a stay-at-home mother, a decision that allowed her to be deeply involved in her children’s education and the broader Aurora community.
For the past eight years, she has served on The Schools Foundation Board, as the marketing and social media chair. She also volunteers regularly in her children’s schools and through her church, and in her neighborhood. In addition, she has owned and operated a small business and has consulted with other small businesses on marketing and business planning, bringing practical experience in communication, strategy, and fiscal responsibility.
She is honored to have been elected to the Aurora City Schools Board of Education and is grateful for the trust placed in her by the community. She is committed to working hard on behalf of Aurora’s families, supporting educators, and helping ensure the district’s continued strength and success.
