Jennifer, a graduate of Crestwood High School, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honors from the University of Akron. She began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse at Robinson Memorial Hospital, where she started on the Step-Down Unit and actively contributed to the Service Excellence Committee before finding her place in the Emergency Department.

In 2013, Jennifer relocated to Aurora after meeting her husband, Bryan. They now have three children: a 10-year-old son and twin 9-year-old daughters, all attending Leighton Elementary School in the Aurora City School District. After the birth of her eldest child, Jennifer took a break from ER nursing to focus on supporting her family. She remains deeply involved in her children’s education, volunteering with the Aurora Elementary PTO and serving as Head Room Parent for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years. Additionally, she serves as Co-Treasurer of the Hawthorn Swim Team Parent Board and enjoys cheering on her kids at soccer games and swim meets.

A passionate advocate for education, Jennifer is honored to serve her community as a Board Member. In this role, she has engaged in various professional development opportunities through the Summit County ESC and the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA). She has also served as the OSBA Student Achievement Liaison and OSBA Legislative Liaison for 2024 and 2025.

Jennifer and her family enjoy an active lifestyle, frequently spending time outdoors, no matter the season, to embrace nature and enjoy quality time together.

Mr. Acomb is a proud resident of Aurora and his professional experiences have been primarily in the field of education. He has been employed by the Solon City Schools since 1997 where he has held several positions of leadership, including his current position in the district offices. He attended and played football at John Carroll University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. His graduate work was completed at Kent State University where he earned a Master of Education degree in Special Education and completed additional graduate work at the doctoral level in K-12 Leadership.

Mike has served in a variety of leadership positions within the Aurora Youth Football Association, including the position of President. He has also served as a coach in a number of youth sports for many years.

Mike and his wife, Lindsay, have four children who attend or have attended the Aurora Schools. Mike believes in the importance of public education and served as a key member of the Aurora City Schools Levy Committee in 2017. He is very proud to have been elected to serve as a member of the Board of Education.

Molly Schneider is a proud graduate of Aurora High School and a lifelong member of the Aurora community. Four generations of her family have attended or worked for the district since the 1950s. She is a dedicated mother of two boys attending Leighton and Harmon Schools.

Molly holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in education from John Carroll University, as well as a master’s degree in American history and government from Ashland University. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Kent State University, working on her dissertation for a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, with a concentration in social studies education.

In addition to her role on the school board, Molly has extensive experience as a lead instructional coach and social studies educator, providing a wealth of knowledge in curriculum design, professional development, and mentoring educators. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, whether on vacations or attending her children’s sporting events during her free time. Molly’s strong community ties, academic achievements, and commitment to education fuel her passion for serving Aurora’s students and families.
