Graduation will be held Thursday, May 19th at 8:00 p.m. Gates will open at 7:00 p.m. and guests can sit on the visitor or home bleachers.  Please make sure to have your ticket upon entering. Handicap seating is available in the bleachers; ramps are on both sets of bleachers and handicap seating is towards the front.

Seniors need to park in the Harmon parking lot and arrive at Veterans Stadium by 6:30 p.m.  They can enter the stadium on the Harmon side or walk to the gathering place in the grass behind the home bleachers outside of the field to get flowers and line up accordingly. Graduation caps with tassels and graduation gowns are worn. Only tassels, cords, medallions, and stoles awarded by Aurora High School may be worn; cords earned through Excel Tecc programs are also allowed to be worn.

Men should wear light-colored shirts, dark trousers, and dress shoes.  Ties are mandatory and should blend with the forest green gown.  Ladies should wear light-colored dresses or white pants and comfortable shoes with a low to moderate heel. Ladies’ gowns are white and anything that shows below the gown must be white. No stilettos or spike heels are allowed on the field.  Small earrings are appropriate. Hair must be groomed to permit the proper wearing of the academic cap.

The graduation ceremony will be live-streamed thanks to Community Focus; the URL is on the back of the graduation ticket. The URL for the live stream is https://mycommunityfocus.app/

Once at the website, people will click on "Live Streams" and then "Aurora Live Streams."

PTO-Sponsored fireworks will follow the Graduation Ceremony:  On behalf of AHS and the Harmon High PTO, we'd like to extend a big thank you to all of the amazing businesses and families who donated to our Senior Celebration Fireworks display set to cap off the 2022 Graduation ceremony at Veterans Stadium on May 19th! Because of the generosity of Dr. James Tomko, Salon Patrick, the Aurora Alumni Association, Dr. Paul Bizjak, and Anna Maria of Aurora, as well as all the family donors who pitched in, we are able to continue the tradition of sending our seniors off with an amazing fireworks celebration that wouldn't have been possible otherwise!  Thank you to everyone for the support as we hope to make this a memorable experience for all seniors, their families and our Aurora Community!
